Location: Lloydminster Diamonds (there will be no travel for this division)
Goals:
- Create a healthy environment in which children of various levels of ability find pleasure in learning baseball.
- Initiate or pursue the development of basic baseball skills and strategies for players. Pitches will come from a manual pitching machine.
- Teach and develop sportsmanship in a context of healthy competition.
- Develop and promote self-esteem in children.
9U Tournament/Exhibition Game Team
For the months of May and June players will play on a city league team. The team will practice on Fridays 5:30 - 7:30 pm. The team will compete in two tournaments and play exhibition games with teams from outside of Lloydminster. The end of season for this team will be the first week of July.
